Andy Silverman is a writer and producer creating genre films that blend horror, magical realism, and unforgettable characters. His work includes films currently distributed by RLJ Entertainment, Indie Rights, and Indican Pictures. He has multiple films currently in pre-production and development.
Andy also screens films for various festivals and moderates industry panels for the Big Apple Film Festival, experiences that keep him closely connected to the filmmaking community and attuned to industry trends.
Before becoming a screenwriter Andy invented and designed board games. He has 8 original prototypes and would be glad to haul them out and play them with anyone who plies him with copious amounts of coffee.
He plays ice hockey and also competes in the ACPT (American Crossword Puzzle Tournament) and was ranked as high as 223 in the world.
